Jackie has been looking after my herd since I met her in 2008, and is my ‘go to’ practitioner. What sets her apart is not just her depth of knowledge and thirst for ongoing learning, it is the way in which she creates a healing alliance with the horse or pony she is treating. She has established a particularly profound relationship with one mare in particular, Ruby, who has experienced many health issues over the years related to pelvic injury and imbalance, laminitis and sensitive gut. It is deeply touching to watch a treatment, and see how the two of them work together to create healing and let go of what needs to be let go of.

I first had a Bowen session from Jackie after a fall from my horse. I had been to two or three osteopaths and chiropractors already, but still experienced pain in my sacrum and imbalance in my pelvis. After just one session I was pain-free and back to full mobility. Since then I’ve had regular treatments from Jackie, for specific injuries and also just to keep on top of things. The sessions are always bliss and I feel 100% better afterwards!
